FUNDRAISING STRATEGY AND PLANNING

  • Assessment:
    Assess effectiveness of your existing fundraising operation and administration, and recommend additions to or shifts in your fundraising activities.

  • Resource Development Strategy and Plan:
    Create an overall development strategy and plan to achieve your revenue goals.

  • Case for Support:
    Build the case for support of your overall mission and flagship programs, including defining your unique value proposition, as well as articulating past impact and anticipated future impact.

  • Capacity Building:
    Train and coach your development team members to take on new functions and to tell your organization’s story more effectively.

  • Feasibility Studies:
    Conduct feasibility studies for various potential fundraising campaigns, e.g. your capital campaign, annual campaign, and major gift campaign. Based on the research and findings recommend how best to conduct a successful campaign.

  • Major & Individual Giving Strategy and Plan:
    Recommend donor-centered solutions and strategies for launching or expanding your major giving program:

    • Donor and prospect cultivation

    • Stewardship

    • Board and volunteer engagement

    • “Moves management” (process of moving donors to higher levels of giving)

    • Naming opportunities

  • Donor Identification:
    Conduct prospect research and wealth screenings to identify a donor’s potential for making a major gift to your organization, program or campaign, and to develop a donor pipeline.

INSTITUTIONAL GIVING

  • Priority Setting & Strategy:
    Develop strategy for gaining funding for your overall mission as well as specific programs and initiatives of your organization.

  • Funder Identification:
    Research and evaluate potential institutional funders, both foundations and corporations for your organization and/or program.

  • Proposal Guidance:
    Review and guide revisions of grant proposals and prepared by your team.

  • Funder Stewardship:
    Coach and guide your staff on fulfilling reporting requirements and cultivating positive ongoing relationships with funders.
